Hi there
Kind of stuck not sure how to create SIP trunk in OXO. Currently i have CPU-2(VOIP8) and Alcatel IP Phones and Digital Phones. Can anybody please teach how to create a SIP trunk. I am using a ISDN 30 channel.
Thanks
In OXO R5 You can switch between H323 protocol and SIP protocol in VoIP parameters. This modification needs a restart of OXO, because this protocols are exclusive in OXO. After that You can go to ARS, and create route to SIP gateway, like usual VoIP route.
Hi there
Thanks for your reply. In my VOIP Parameters there are only General,Gatekeeper,Gateway,DSP,DHCP and Fax. I kind of lost in searching for switch from H.323 protocol to SIP Protocol in the VOIP Parameters.
And where can i find this ARS?
First of all you need Release5 of OXO. In that case in VoIP Parameters on General tab lowest stroke will be Voip protocol. Here you can change from H323 to SIP. ARS you can found in Numbering.
In my general tab in VOIP Parameters there are only Number of VOIP trunk channel, number of voip subscriber channel and IP Quality of Service.
How to check for the release of my OXO?
To cavagnaro: license for SIP Trunk is not required for viewing type of protocol for VoIP in VoIP parameters.
To Annuar: Your OXO has release lower than 5. You can see this in Data saving & swapping/SW Downloading - Running Software. For example, 3EH30368CTAA ALZRU500/030.004 . RU - country symbols, 500 - release number 5, 030.004 - patch number.
For release 5 you need OMC instead of PM5.
Thanks Guys. Yup my OXO still running on release 4. DO you guys know how to use H.323 to connect a phone. As all mine IP phone used a TFTP to connect to my call server IP. Same goes to phimphony. I wish to know how to do or create one phone thru H.323.
Is it under ARS i can't of not sure what this ARS can really do??
