Cannot delete user

Post by lubik »

I have an OmniPCX 4400. I want to delete a user (an extension) but I am getting an error: "processing Failure OBJECT -1: ATTRIBUTE 0: An analogic station exists".
What does it mean? How could I fix it?
Thanks

It is twined ? Set supervision ? Did you try force delete ? Can you share your database ?

Forced delete was unsuccessful, provided the same error.

I've got it. An analog station was defined with the same Shelf, Board and Equipment address. After changing these addresses to "255" I was able to delete the user (digital station).

Thanks.

First check if that user has the option Z adapter is true if yes then check the hardwareaddress of the user. Then go to shelve-board-TA adapter for that addres and look if a ta adapter is created. If yes first find than a analog user with the same hw addres as the digital user. If you find it put it on 255 or delete it. Then delete the TA adapter under the board. Theb put the option z adapter on false validate. Then try to delete the user.

Filter the adress of the user and you will see that there are two extensions on it. Delete first the analog equipment or set the address to 255/255/255 then delte your user

If not, do a database backup, and share it here.
We'll do a contest of who can send it back the fastest to you corrected :)

I had solved the problem.
Thanks to all who responded.

I would like to close this thread but I don't know how to do it.
