Hello all, Maybe i'm not grasping the terminology just yet.

I have a huntgroup. 5200. The calling works fine. Camp-on is set to 0%. Nobody should be left on hold as the support calls can be lengthy. Extra calls should be sent to a specific voice mail box. 5299

In the huntgroup, the "overflow directory number" is set to 5299. 5299 has phone fetatures class of service voicemail forwarding set to "ring final set mail". 5299 has a working voicemail box and is set to immediate forward.

but still the huntgroup exhibits "number busy" engaged instead of forwarding to 5299's voicemail

Any pointers?

Whoa, slow it down there...

What is PNC?

Groups->1->Hunt Groups->5200 gives me no options for overflow other than the directory number to overflow to, which is set and exists.

Where else can I change such things?

Thanks

Set the Public Network Category of the Hunt Group to 255 and it should work fine.

Awesome. Thanks rdclan.

As always, I'm not content with just having a solution. I would like to know why this works..

My second query is that when I phone a DDI, if it's busy or OOS it goes to the attendant. I would like it to go to VM.

In 4760, I'm looking at 'Classes of Service'->1->'Access COS' .... Is this the correct set of variables to adjust this behavour?

Thanks again for everybodies suggestions.

Hmmm,

I'm still having problems with this.

Setting PNC to 255 got me overflow to an extension from my busy huntgroup.

However, the (circular) huntgroup doesn't search more than two stations. Even when 20 are logged in.

I suspect it's a call timer, as opposed to a num of stations, but depressingly enough, the call ends up at reception, instead of the overflow station.

Help

Cheers

Download the system documentation from this website, and check the list of timers. You'll find your answer.
