Script to post and delete voice mail to/from voice mail box

Post by tomar »

Dear All,

Is there any way by which one can post a voice mail (simple .wav file) to some one's voice mail box using a linux script? Similarly one should be able to delete voice mails from the voice mail box using script. I suppose that if there is some voice mail directory for every user and each voice mail is kept as a file in that directory then it is very simple. Can somebody let me know the directory structure and the format of the voice mail (eg. .wav etc.) file?

Thanks

Tomar

The voicemail messages are hosted in a database, and the database is on a unknown partition.
There is no way to do what you are looking for out of the box.
