netadmin issue
Hello to everybody!
Seems that Netadmin does not respond to certain ips.Does the pbx keep a range of ips for it self?
For example i put 10.3.1.100 for the local and 111 for the main and i cannot ping it both. Also i log on as root and the ifconfig doesnt show me the ip addresses that i put in netadmin.
I put the ip manual from the root i ping it normally then is put them also in netadmin but it doesnt let me log in thgrouh telnet or even through 4760i
wired?
I tryed default configuration with netadmin -n 3 1 works perfect but when i change it in 100 or something else it stucks.
In the beggining i thought that it was from the INT-IP cartds or from the x25 for this reason i created an empty data base and still make the same.
The crystal is cpu5 and 5.1 release.
Any idea why this happeninig?

1) Make sure that there is noting else on the network using 100 or 111. (I have accidentally made my laptop the same as Cpu IP a few times)
2) Make sure there is no firewall blocking you, including widows firewall.
3) I have found it is always better to run netadmin when logged in as administrator ( su ) especially on older versions.
4) You must reboot after redoing the netadmin
Hope this helps

Thank you all for your replies !!!
I tried everything you said and i am sure that i am changing ips the right way.I think there is something wrong with the database or system version. If someone knows how do go deeper to system to check some possibilities i am all ears(and eyes):P if not i will upgrate the system in next sunday:
