TSAPI communication

Post by Aquarius! »

Hello,

There is a TSAPI server installed in our LAB, connected to an OXE.
It works under Linux OS. I filled the ini file with the
appropriate datas. Unfortunately there is no communication
on port 3595.
What is to be done to be opened port 3595 in OXE?

Hi,

Try to port 2555. OXE and OXE use 2555 for CSTA conections. I dont know if TSAPI apps has their own ports.

Which TSAPI server are you using?

TSAPI is a server for CSTA applications.
TSAPI is connected to one or many OXE (see NB_TSA in /etc/tsapid.conf) on the CSTA port used by CSTA server on the OXE (usually 2555 if my memory is good).
Port 3595 (an 3596, 97, etc... if you are many instance of TSAPI), is dedicated to you application (or other CSTA server like callMgrII).
To see if your TSAPI is connected on the OXE, use tsa_maintenance (in /usr/tsapi) and the documentation provided on the CD.
You can check incident in OXE, like "CSTA : New instance created" when TSAPI connect to csta_mono
