Installing License Files on a Duplicated CPU

Post by dizfunkshinal »

Hi there,

I figure I'll probably get some flack for this because even I feel like a n00b not knowing this.

I am a new ACFE and have had no interaction with duplicated call servers. In our standard setups all of our OXE's use duplicated call servers. What I'm looking to find out is: What are the steps for installing new license files on a duplicated call server? I've done this on a stand alone system but not a duplicated system. Go easy on me, but thanks in advance for your time and information.

Whatever you do on the main server, you do the same on the standby.
It's easy as 1-2-3 !

It is enough to install it on main server, configure what you need, do reboot if needed and make "mastercopy" or DB cloning in swint.
As licenses are in DB they all be succesfully transferred to stand-by CPU.
