Project type: A4400T
Files have to be uploaded to /usr7/vg/pc
Filenames have to be changed to something like 999_name12 (.wav has to be removed)
999=voice guide number
name=free text (only small letters and numbers allowed, max. 8 letters)

In my case, because the corporate on-hold messages changes very often, we are using a cd player conected with a cable to the adapter Z12 instead of using the flash memory.
The CD player is set to playback forever.
under menu system, you have to create the voiceguide for it.
Go to System - voice guide -> create a voice guide with function "Z12 guide"
Then go to menu Entity, search the entity that affects your AA, edit it and at the item "waiting guide" set the new voice guide number you just created for the Z12.
It's working fine.....

AAS
If you want professional sounding recordings , use a suitable application to record them to a wav file then use the AAS to upload them onto the 4400.
here's how to do the upload:
1...Using Windows software (bscd1 is the name of the wav file)
>start
>all programs
>accessories
>entertainment
>sound recorder
>file
>open
>select bscd1
>file
>save as
>change
>CCITT A law
>8khz 8 bit mono
>save
>overwrite
>ok
2....Using the Alcatel Audio Station
>samples
>convert
>source
>wave saved from cd ....bscd1.wav
>CCITT 8k mono
>destination file...d:wave file convert 8hz a law
>bscd1 alaw.wav
>convert
>re name file to bscd1alaw.wav (you have the first stage file and second
>stage file )
>format
>CCITT A law
