Hi,
I have an Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Server.
I have been told the software release 9.1 and license file has been installed.
The OmniPCX server contains a Gateway Driver Processing Unit, an analog interface card , a call server processing unit and ISDN Access E1 interface card.
A PE6500/50 -48V - 1 X 7AH Battery Charger with Batteries.
Do you know where I can get documentation on this product in order for me to access the system.
Does the document contain default login and password information?
Which card is used to access the system? .ie. which network port?
Will I need to speak to the person who installed the software to get ip address information and Login and password details.

As the software and license already installed , u can access the system thru COM PORT or telnet.
Do u hv any idea how to configure the customer database .i.e Analog or E1 card configuration etc ?
Documentations are available in alcatelunleashed site itself. But for access that u have to be a registered user.

OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server
Hi Zoheb.h
I did not see any comm port on the OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server.
No I would not be able to configure databases or Analog /E1 cards without a document.
Is it difficult to become a registered user on alcatelunleashed site?

How to access OmniPCX enterprise server
Hi thanks for your response,
Not sure the what the exact hardware is ,crystal or common.
I am not familiar with Alcatel .
Would have thought there is some universal IP address you would use to connect to a LAN port. But not sure which LAN port.
There are LAN ports on the Gateway driver Processing unit and Call server processing unit.
Is there are standard ip address you use to connect with???
Will have a look at the docs

OmniPCX Media Gateway
Hi Zoheb,
thanks for your reply.
Had a look at the docs.
Realised I have a OmniPCX Media Gateway.
Can connect with a VT100 connection to the Config Port of the Gateway Driver Processing Unit.
Yes the Gateway Driver is in the top right of the Media Gateway.
Trying to figure out how to power the Media Gateway up with PE6500 battery charger
Thanks
