Trouble with RMA

Post by rick63 »

Problems with a RMA Connect form a Common Hardware Rack without a eRMA Board to a 4400 RMA Board....

The Problem is a bit difficult to explain...

I want to make call from a Common Hardware OXE Rel.6.x with a V24 plugware Adapter in "standalone Mode" (I mean its a 4093 Adapter) to a Crystal Hardware 4400 Rel. 3.x. Here is the RMA Board the destination.
The connect with the Dial Number is correct.

When I call the "C 1" Commando I will connected to the Chorus an I can call the Manager (mgr) or something else, it works fine.

But when I call the "C 5" Commando for the VoiceMail 4635 I´ve got a connect to the VoiceMail. But after the password input the menues are a little bit "mixed" on the screen.
Some Characters "running wild across the screen".
I think its the Terminal emulation from my Terminal program. Here I use ZOC for the Alcatel 4400 and OXE´s.

I have tried all settings on my Terminal programm and tried also several settings on the Setup Menue for the 4093-plugware.

I can´t find the right configuration.

If someone have the same problem an solved it, so let me a short answer before I lost my last hairs from my head....

Thank you

On the RMA board, type mngt

then 2, 5, 1 :

[1] Label : ExC (Voice Mail)
[2] Speed : 9600 Bauds
[3] Word size : 8 Bits
[4] Parity : No Parity
[5] Stop bit : 1 Stop Bit
[6] Flow control: XON/XOFF
[7] All

then [enter] to go back to the previous menu, then 2, and the protocol should be TRANSPARENT
Code Free Or Die
