I'm having a MIPT 310 on site. After doing the below settings I get an No SVP response. How do I activate the extension and what is the set type to be defined for this?
IP Address: Use DHCP -> Favour Alcatel Only
SSID: the SSID Name
Reg Domain name: 02

We need for answering your questions correctly more infos (Oxo/Oxe?, SVP server?, WLAN from Alcatel?)
Do you have an SVP server? If not than change the qos-settings in the phone to WMM and you need a wireless environment with WMM (like OAW). If you have SVP server with providing DHCP than you have to know that this isn't realy Alcatel. So the DHCP setting in the phone with "alcatel only" is the wrong one. Have you tried the config with static ip?

SVP Server is been used. The SVP server is releasing the DHCP. The previous engineer who was handling the site has forgotten the password for the SVP server. Is there anyway i can reset the password.

Unfortuately I havent
In knowledge base I have found the following but no hint for resetting PW.
When you receive the Message " No SVP server Response" Please check the following settings in the SVP server.
1) Make sure you are able to Ping SVP server
2) Minimim Software version on the SVP server is 175.028
3) Alias Ip address do not overlap the Acutal Phone's IP (One Alias per phone)
4) SVP II master address programmed.
5) Default gateway Programmed correctly.
6) Also check if there are active alarms in the Error status of the SVP server.
