Hi,
one of my customers want to do the following:
- an incoming call rings on the set
- without picking the call up he want's to make a transfer
- if the set isn't multiline this works perfect (he just dials the number of the extension and then the ringing call is transferd to this extension)
- but if the set is multiline there are two behaviours:
- with one multiline he can dial nothing
- with two multilines he can dial an extension but then it's like a normal call...he can talk with the other extension but not transfer the ringing call
Any ideas how to solve this?
Thank You
Robert

Re: Multiline transfer problem
May be for this set (with two multi-line keys) - you need to program "forward on ringing" key and press this key and after dial number?
Without this - PBX do not know - you want to forward on ringing or just call another party.

Thanks for your feedback.RobertBreu wrote:Hi,

a)
- An incoming call rings on the set with two multilines
- He dials an extension and presses the programmed "transfer on ringing key"
b)

c)
- Without Multiline you can dial just the extension number
Both works, correct?

Hi,
only b and c works.
only b and c works.
Re: Multiline transfer problem
Ok. As expected.
Saved in my brain for future reference. (I hope *g*)

"Both" and three options. Funny. Hehe.
But only, if you leave the field "Directory Number" in the key empty, right?
If you enter a number there, the call will be forwarded directly and fix to this number.

Hi,
