Hi,
I would like to configure my OS6400 regarding following requirements
- 1 vlan for data equpiment
- 2 vlans for automatic vlan assignement
--> this is not the problem
But I also have to configure port security with mac address filtering on the ports, so only mac addresses is the list will be accepted.
I already tried several constellations with the command "port-security", but none worked perfectly. The customer will have around 140 IP phones and even more devices for data.
Could anybody help me with that or is there another better way to solve this kind of port security?
thanks for help.

Hi,
I'm almost convinced that you need Access Guardian with Radius (non-supplicant for MAC authentication). Tech_tip

hello
Agree with you one6f . Put list of device in a radius and used AG + Omnivista to configure AG rule for port. I use it and working fine.

why would I need the omnivista for this? can't I configure the rules vie web interface?
thanks for help.

Re: port-security AND AVA
Hi,
it is not necessary to use OmniVista, it's just more comfortable.
You can use web interface or command line instead.
