2nd. TFTP address (configuration by TELNET)

Post by Sidney »

Sirs,

I have a scenario of a lot of IP Phones (basically 4038 and 4068 phones), that are configured in STATIC mode, at several different sites.

At the beggining of the project, it was expected to work with NON-SPACIAL CPU DUPLICATION, and so only one TFTP address was configured at IP phones configuration menu.

Now the customer intends to change the scenario to SPACIAL REDUNDANCY, and we need to update the configuration of IP phones with TFTP2 address.

Is it possible to do that remotely, through telnet access to avoid the need of doing a local operation in configuration ?

If so, which command should be used ?

Thanks in advance.

IMHO it is enough to modify lanpbx.cfg file properly. All new host addresses will be loaded on IP set during initialization.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Hi, Alex
Thanks for your answer.
It was really solved just with lanpbx.cfg file modification.

Best regards,
