update or upgrade ???

hi guys

my ICS is running in Version 6.1 und want to update/upgarde to 6.5 , im searching in the TC there are 2 different case and i´m not sure whats the right procedere.

i believe it´s update or not???

Have somebody experience with this and can me explain his procedere.

and the most importent thing : works the system after the update/upgrade ???

Easy dude, do a backup with 6.5 version of the backup tool, do the upgrade, if it works, cool, if not, install from scratch and restore the upgrade. Done.

First you need to get 6.5 upgrade license. this is free of charge and without 6.5 license, the old license is valid for 200 days.
Just stop the services and with 6.5 DVD > install.bin > prompts you upgrade
