All,
does somebody already deployed the 10K switch in their network.
We are in the process to renew our switches and we are looking to this new box, but we don't have any already deployed setup done by our integrator.
please share all the experiences you may have.
Regards,
Yves

Re: experience with 10K switch
From my experiences, the ALU Lab is not really coevering all things in depth, so real-world experiences are what is looked for. E.g. my Lab experiences with MC-LAG were good, in a mixed live network ( we had some "findings") which reluts in about two handful of manual correction/additions, several PR/SR which handle bugs we have encountered. Waiting for the next release
I'd like to get hands on OS10k...

Re: experience with 10K switch
hey i have question about mc-lag i configured 2x10k with mc-lag and some 6850X and inside our nw=etwork it works fine. The big disatvantages is not NAT support :/ but my question is about layer 3 mc-lag support.
We have some outside customers and forward their traffic across our network so with mc-lag connection. And i thinhk about topology
10k--\
| 6850X ---->Customer-router---customer network
10k--/
For example: MC1 - 1.1.1.1/29
MC2 - 1.1.1.2/29
VIP - 1.1.1.3
Customer router address - 1.1.1.4
Customer router gateway 1.1.1.3
And NAT on customer network side on address 1.1.1.4
Is it possible ?
