OXE Qsig

Post by hawai50 »

Hi;

I have Oxe with several trunks Qsig (Cisco,Nortel,Ericcson), the caller id for all my users have to be the same, for example 36000.

I am playing with the npd (npd source, entity source,etc) in trunks qsig without result, always send the number of user.

Anybody knows if the npd work for trunks qsig ??

Thanks in advance

If your QSIG trunk group is using DDI, then you can create an NPD pointing to DDI tabl 0 for the "Called DDI identifier" and to DDI table 1for the "Calling/connected DDI identifier".
In DDI 0 create your routing rules as your numbering plan. In DDI 1 create the same "first external" value and the same "range" value as in DDI 0, but as"first internal" value set it = 36000 and "Unique Internal Number"=Yes. Then in NPD set "Installation number source"= Not used.

That should work

Hi mtcl:

I am not using ddi in trunk group, I can´t put this parameter (ddi transcoding) in trunk group to true.

Thanks

Normaly you can change this parameter for T2 type trunk groups, then create DDI table 0, to support DDI calls. I can't see any other solution.

First thing to remember QSIG is a private trunk group. Do you play with private NPD?
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
