Fax over g711 on OXE

As I understand OXE support FAX over G711 (FAX/modem transparency) but only INSIDE one system. F.e. you have two MG in one PBX - you can use FAX/modem transparency.

But for outside communication - you need to use T.38 (or proprietary fax mode - for ABC-F and not NGP VoIP board).

thanks guys but it is as I thought only t38 support on SIP trunks. in my case fax is on SLI card. maybe R11 I have heard from the grapevine.

over here as well we face the same problem. according to alcatel they say it will be solved in R11.

I managed to solve this issue with asterisk 10 and the spandsp library. I created a T38 gateway configuration and it works!
