Hello,
we have installed an OXE R10 in the USA. Now we have a Problem with sending the right number to Germany.

Environment:

Trunk Group:
No. of digits unused (ISDN) : 0

Trunk group NPD selector:
Public NPD ID : 132

Numbering Plan Description (NPD):
Calling Numbering plan ident. + NPI/TON ISDN International
Called numbering plan ident. + NPI/TON ISDN National
Install. number source + Entity source
Default number source + Entity source
Called DID identifier : 32
Calling/Connected DID identifier : 32

When I make a call from the USA to Germany we send this:

______________________________________________________________________________
| (996084:000002) 1271: Send_IO1 (link-nbr=1, sapi=0, tei=0) :
| long: 68 desti: 0 source: 15 cryst: 2 cpl: 6 us: 8 term: 0 type a5
| tei: 0 <<<< message sent : SETUP [05] Call ref : 00 ac
|______________________________________________________________________________
|
| IE:[04] BEARER_CAPABILITY (l=3) 80 90 a2
| IE:[18] CHANNEL (l=3) a9 83 8c -> T2 : B channel 12 exclusive
| IE:[6c] CALLING_NUMBER (l=13) -> 11 81 Num : 12193264000
| IE:[70] CALLED_NUMBER (l=18) -> a1 Num : 01149511xyz
| IE:[7d] HLC (l=2) 91 81
| [a1] Sending complete
|______________________________________________________________________________

The T3 Trace in Germany looks like this:

______________________________________________________________________________
| (532680:000005) Concatenated-Physical-Event :
| long: 52 desti: 0 source: 0 cryst: 1 cpl: 9 us: 0 term: 0 type a5
| tei: 0 >>>> message received : SETUP [05] Call ref : 03
| SENDING COMPLETE
|______________________________________________________________________________
|
| IE:[04] BEARER_CAPABILITY (l=3) 80 90 a3
| IE:[18] CHANNEL (l=1) 8a -> T0/S0 : B2 channel exclusive
| IE:[6c] CALLING_NUMBER (l=12) -> 11 83 Num : 2193265000
| IE:[70] CALLED_NUMBER (l=10) -> c1 Num : xyz
|______________________________________________________________________________

There are two Problems:

-The received Calling Number in Germany is not 2193264000.
The Provider sends 2193265000. I don’t know why the Provider change the number

-The received phone number format is not international so the telephone systems in germany aren’t have the opportunity to show the right number like: 001 219 326 4000

Can anybody help me how to config the Trunk in the right format for the usa?

Thanks a lot

You should talk to them, not with us. Your traces look fine. Maybe you have a different range (xxx5000). Did you checked the inbound?

The xxx5000 is in the range given by the provider. That's not the problem... the problem ist that we send the xxx4000 and the provider replace it to xxx5000.
In Germany the provider do this in the case of a not correct send number so I think the problem is that we send an incorrect numbering format.

Inbound is working fine.

With the old communication system everything was OK so there must be a config-prob!

I think this is normal behavior. It is not an open numbering plan like in Germany. So the provider replaces any other user number than the ones allocated to you with the main number of the T1 line. You should send only numbers in the range that you have bought.

hmmm... the customer has definitely the number xxx4000.
when I call the number xxx4000 from germany the telephone 4000 rings.
The other problem is why I can't see that the call from the usa is an international call?

Sorry, where?
The customer has the range from xxx4000 to xxx5000.
The problem is, all telephones send the number xxx5000

If you call xxx4500 which is the user number received by the PBX in US?
It may be though that TELCO expects different number of digits for user for incoming and outgoing, so test with 3, 4, 5, 6.....etc digits for outgoing or ask provider.

when I call the xxx4500 the 4500 will ring.
The setup looks like this:

|______________________________________________________________________________
|
| IE:[04] BEARER_CAPABILITY (l=3) 80 90 a2
| IE:[18] CHANNEL (l=3) a1 83 97 -> T2 : B channel 23 preferred
| IE:[28] DISPLAY (l=15) `Name Unavailabl`
| IE:[6c] CALLING_NUMBER (l=16) -> 00 80 Num : 49511wxyz
| IE:[70] CALLED_NUMBER (l=5) -> 80 Num : 4500
|______________________________________________________________________________

Now we have further an other problem. The customer can only make calls inside the usa.
Calls to germany (all with 001) will blocked whis an announcement.

I have tried all combinations sending the calling number:
4500
xxx4500
yyyxxx4500
1yyyxxx4500
001yyyxxx4500

with all reasonable NPI/TON options:

Unknown
NPI/TON: ISDN Unknown
NPI/TON ISDN International
NPI/TON ISDN National
NPI/TON ISDN User
NPI/TON ISDN Reserved1
NPI/TON ISDN Reserved2

anybody an idea?
