Alcatel 4400 and Cisco CME via E1

Post by r156 »

Hello,

We are trying to setup E1 connection between Cisco CME (on router with E1 card) to 4400 with PRA card. After basic setup from http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_i ... 8366nt.pdf (with few differences).

Our dialplan on 4400 is XXXX (4 digits, mainly 2xxx,3xxx,4xxx) and the key objective is to make the same dialplan on Cisco. For basic setup we have two numbers for Cisco (4999 and 4998). Now it is possible to call from Cisco to Alcatel (on my Alcatel I can see on LCD valid number) - it works fine, but when I try to call from alcatel to cisco, I get "link out of service". Where can be the problem?

if you dial 4999 or 4998 - present something in t3 trace or not?
If 4999 and 4998 - network numbers - show management:
- node/TG and network managed in prefixes;
- 4400 network/ node numbers (from system);
- TG number.
