Prefix for SIP TrunkGroup

Post by djsonico »

Hello,

I'm implementing OXE 9.1 with Genesys Outbound Solution v8. I dont have a clear concept about how to create the prefix number for the trunks that will use the Genesys OCS with the TSCall.

This are my suppositions:

1) I will use SIP external trunk (GW GSM), and in this case I only can use prefixs type: Routing Number or ARS (SIP not support Trunk group seizure prefix)

2) I will use VAD (voice activity detection) for CPD and this in not compatible with ARS prefix.

3) If the points 1) and 2) are correct, the only way to create a prefix is using Routing Number, here I have a length limitation because the prefix only accepts 8 digits. and the public number have 10 digits.

What is the solution for this problem in this kind of implementations???

Thanks in advance. :)

There are some Technical Communications on Genesys products interworking with OXE on BPWS.
And there is a separate subforum on Genesys here.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Alex, thanks for your answer.

But the problem is in Alcatel side, because if I use E1 ISDN trunks works as expected.

I dont know how to solve the prfix problem with SIP Trunks. The prefix doesnt work using the alcatel softphone even.
