OXE like VoIP Provider SIP Server

Post by giovanni.attolini »

Hello!

Question 1:
Can OXE work like a VoIP provider SIP server? For example, if you create an SIP Device or SIP Extension user, this user can make more than one internal or external simultaneous call (like an 8 FXS ports gateway registred with one account only)?

Question 2:
If you have NAT between the customer network and the OXE network, is possible use a SIP device? Need use SBC to run this? If yes, where the SBC needs to be placed?

Thanks

About Q1:
Yes, you should...
Q2:
A SBC is used for security. Maybe a Reverse Proxy will be needed to as the OXE will probably have a private IP and not a public one.
About the location of the SBC well before the OXE to the internet, you should discuss that with the SBC provider.
