Headset problem on 4018

I have a user here with a 4018 phone, she reported that she could hear callers on her headset, but they could not hear her. I bought a new headset for her.

Plugged in the new headset switched on the headset button and made a call. Dialled an internal extension and I could hear them but they could not hear me.

Changed the bottom cable on the headset same thing.

Works ok with the handset but plugging in the headset leaves one way speech ?

Any ideas ?

Headset is a Plantronics H251N headset plugged into handset port and key programmed for headset use.

Have you tried another headset model or brand? Can be an incompatibility between this headset model and the phone.
