My IC rebooting after Application deployed

Post by baalynt »

Hello!

Have anybody any idea for this trouble? No button to reach the administrator menu at Step 2.

An application deployed to the phone through 8770, and after the phone rebooted, it have been unaccessable.

The last two messages before reboot are:

„Failed to buid upgrade scenario.”
„Reboot in progress: Build upgrade scenario fails”.

It holded it’s previous configuration (including the ip address), but there is no button at boot phase 2, where we could change the config, where it should boot from. Also not possible to boot from USB, becuse the missed menu.

As looks in the attached capture file, something wrong with a certificate.

We had tried later to remove the device (and user too) and readd in Opentouch, but it doesn’t works.

Are there any solution, how can we make a hard reset on the myICPhone 8082 to load back the factory default firmware? There should be a workaround through TFTP or USB.

is ssh connection allowed to the VHE ?
if yes, then try the command : dwl to force the update to a right binary.

Hello!

The ssh is allowed on the 8082. IP address is static.
As I see in the trace, there is authentication problem.
There is not possible to login to 8082, no button at the 2. step... Login not possible from OT too.
Could you write the usage of dwl message step by step?
Thank you!!!

you just have to ssh into (admin/...)
and launch an upgrade (with a specific URL where to download the binary)

Code: Select all

dwl seturl http://xx.xx.xx.xx/vhe/customfiles/mycusto/profile.xml

Sorry, I am a beginner in OpenTouch.
So, I need to connect to OT Node, I think.
I can write there commands.
The IP address what you write is the OT IP, or the 8082?
Sorry for my "stupid" questions, I don't know the system yet...

The main problem, that the 8082 in not reachable.
So I can't login to the phone with ssh.
I think the phone lost its configuration. Maybe I need a factory reset or upload the new config.
But we don't know the method...

Hi
Since you are new , most probable cause of error is you
Have you followed the deployment steps, including specifying the vhe that sign ctl and perform signing ctl on suce vhe and thénar deploying the produced certificate/ctl on opentouch

The error you show on etherreal capture is masked, but probably it is certificate of OT not trusted, Since not signed by a VHE
If you dont want sécurity / https trusted
You CAN locate the rewriterule file on OT and rename it, then restart OT services. Next OT 1.2 Will propose deployment not secured as an option on the post install wizzard

If you want security, open the admin doc (certificate part) and followed all steps

I just forget one point
If vhe was working before deployment ,
A root cause can be a bad app package, not zipped properly or a web app with bad XML file ( not having good path to all its rpm)
Redo a deployment of only offficial VHe binary
And restart the device

If you open the trouble shooting guide for VHe and for opentouch
You will have some tips to decrypt https flow ( using server certifcate with private key)

Hello!

Thank you the answers! The 8082 was OK before the deploy.
But now it is working. There was a problem with the zip file, because the device crashed.
We deployed the firmware software again to Tel. Application field (ICTouch_VHE200.etc), and deployed the package.
And the 8082 started normally.
Thansk for everybody the answers!
