Sync problem with pabx via remote link T2
hello,
I've posted on this forum a question about how I can configure a link between T2 4400 and Siemens HICOM alcatel 398.
Now, thanks to a number of tests and research on the net, I could solve this problem and finally the communication is established.
I noticed that the connection T2 remains in service during and after 15min almost falls out of service and is automatically restored after 5min.
I found that this is a problem with the synchronization.
A red alarm is triggered on the map INTOF "SYN".
My question is how I can solve this prob synch.
for your information my config on digital access alcatel side is that it is "SLAVE".
thank you

Re: Sync problem with pabx via remote link T2
Check "infocs" command.
Looks like your systems are not synchronized - they run on internal sources so after some time they completely out of sync.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Re: Sync problem with pabx via remote link T2
- Read System Documentation/System Services/PCX Synchronization chapter.
- Check for the latest patch of OXE version
- Check whether HICOM act a s a master of synchronziation

hi,
indeed, this is what I do now, but there's a party in the documentation that I did not understand:
Read Documentation System / System Services / PCX Synchronization chapter.
Check for the latest patch release of OXE
Check Whether HICOM act asa master of synchronziation
how to check the latest patch
Siemens is in master
thanks.

Which version do you have? A string printed out on login something like R10.0-j1.410-bla-bla-blayoufo007 wrote: how to check the latest patch

You'd better check with the latest f2.502.33.a.
