iPad client - something missing

Hi

Has anyone managed to get the iPad client working ?

Documentation states that URL should be (server FQDN)/OTC/ipad_index.html, but no OTC folder on Opentouch server !!

I have created the device, and attached it to user. I have verified that the configuration file is generated, and present in OTTablet folder,

When connecting iPad it just times out.

iPad was missing in release .060

After upgrading to .080 iPad is working lika a charm

I tested during an ALU training and is working, but the software is not available to download from apple store yet.

OTC iPad start to word with 1.1.000.080
Delivery of client part is subjected to apple approval,
At best, it Will be on Apple store at 1 St. 2012

Before Apple store publication, lab/demo soft has been provided ( case by case approval) and was dependant of an acs version embedded in opentouch
Last otc prod. 1.32.6 is compilant with opentouch 1.1.000.080

1.32.9 OpenTouch client for iPad is finally on Apple store
It is compliant with iPad iOS 5 and 6
Look at Apple store and search keyword "alcatel" and you will find it

Version OT 1.1.000.080 is required
A patch on server will soon be published to solve an issue for the login ( seems related to complex password with "&" characater, but using a local password or password including "@" it is ok)

I have installed it but it looks bad...translation strings are missing or something like that...reinstalled 2 times and same issue

I will try turning my iPad Spanish
if it is reproduced, I wander why they got delay In iPad availability but still basic translation issue
Fixing bugs should not interact with translation

I have not ios6 , with ios5 the translación works
I Will check with Other users equipes with ios6

For me too is obvious is a translation issue, but would think that under any error default (english?) would be loaded...seems it is presenting the variables and not the values.

I got same issue, but it is not a missing translation ( another user give me his iPad for testing)
During startup i got a popup( I should have notice the text, seems a timeout)
And then a lot of text not translated on OTC. Interface

Same language is ok if using another iPad or another opentouch


Look at your own iPad
If you got error durimg the start up, copy paste here the screenshot

And retry all iPad setup
Uninstall
Reinstall from Apple store
Put login, password and ot fqdn
And retry

Take care, the user must have the license desktop and tablet to use OTC iPad
Dns should be checked also
