4635 backup problem

Post by Sc00by »

hello,

We recently had a fault with our 4635 board so we got a new one. I swapped over the hard drive and all is well.

I am trying to configure a backup but not having much luck. I noticed that under LAN Interface Management > IP Address it's showing the MAC address of the old card and I can't see how to refresh it to the new one (maybe this is stopping the backup from working?)

With that aside I have gave it an IP, I can ping it, scheduled a backup, logged in via FTP and ran all the bin, hash etc commands then mget sbr.sbz but all I get is Transfer Complete - 20bytes received

Can someone explain please?

Thanks

what ftp tool you using? dos-ftp??
I seem to recall that using dos-ftp from a dos shell in xp is no good. You need to try the ftp executable from the old windows 95 or 2000 machine
