License for 4645

Hi all,

I need to add license for voice mail 30 users on oxe rel 8.1. I import the zip file to Actis and choose On Com Server for 4645 infrastructure but the box for 4645 starter (30 users) is not accessible. Actis automatically selects 4645 voice mail capacity User voice mailboxes which adds a license for 350 user. This is to much as there are only 30 users required for voice mail and we cannot afford license for 350 Users. If i deselect 4645 voice mail capacity User voice mailboxes, only base engine software license is added. Does the base engine software license include any users or we have no choice but to buy the 350 pack?

In ACTIS, there is no way to purchase only license for a subset of users... it will link the number of mailboxes license on the users that you currently have in your system.
so in your case, if your system has 350 users, you cannot order just Vmail user license for 30 users, but you most have that for all the 350 users.
another thing for you to know is that "4645 Starter" that provides 30 users licenses is a commercial package only available when the site contains no more than 250 users..
I know it sucks, but that's how Actis engine works.
