Use SIP Trunk between two OXE for external Calls

Post by Sam2009 »

HI
I have two OXEs : OXE-A (R10.0) & remote OXE-B (R9.1)
i want to use SIP Trunk for link between these OXE.
i think it works for internal calls between them.
but at OXE-B there is no external lines with STE , so i need use trunk lines at OXE-A.
did users at OXE-B can make external calls directly using remote TG at OXE-A over SIP Link ?????? (as we can over ABC-F link !!!)

could any one help me.

you have to manage the numbering plans?ars?sip gateway?barring in the trunks and the user? in both oxe. ofcourse you can.

for example if you have in one oxe 0 for external lines in the other oxe you have to make a prefix translated as 00 so you can access the trunk from the other side. compressors for this will be needed if isdn or analog lines evolved .

There is a good explanation and configuration example in a system docs - "SIP Trunking Configuration Examples" in IP-PCX networks chapter.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
