SIP-Trunk to external Application

Post by ltatge »

Hi,
I have a OXE R10.1.1 and a SIP -Trunk to an Application (XPhone UC 2011 with XCAPI). When I want to route a faxcall to the Application, OXE always sends the Trunkgroup Prefix, f.e. 761590. (76 Prefix, 1590 faxnumber in Application)

Does anyone know, how to cut off the prefix and send only faxnumber? Tried with Routing No., Network No., Open Routing No., but when in Network Routing Table "Rank of First Digit to Sent" is set to 3 no communication is possible.

Any ideas?

When you use network number 1590.
Or the external application must cut the prefix.

Network number 1590 doesn't work, because of overlapping with extension 159 in prefixplan.

Then you must cut the prefix in the faxserver. Normaly that is possible.

hi

Make a prefix routing number for example 159 , assosiated with the sip trunk group with digits to sent 3.
Then go to ddi nubering plan and leed the first external = 159 and first internal to 1590

Sorry, some explanation missing....
Users phonenumber&DDI 159, users faxnumber &Fax-DDI 1590. To dial in both numbers is possible, problem is internal. With Routing Number i have to give Trunk Prefix, this is sent to faxserver, too. I've got no chance to cut off Prefix in faxserver. And in Prefix plan, to have 159 & 1590 is impossible.

You can't work with the network routing table and first digit to send. That don't work on SIP.
Maybe you can try with ARS like it used in SIP trunk to provider. Then create a Speeddial number with this prefix. In the past we configure classic fax servers in this way. 10 years ago or so.

Problem is solved. Added two H323 trunks to OXE. There is no prefix sent.

Thanks for your suggests!
