Hi,
I have a 4760 installed with an Oxe on which I have a SIP trunk Grp.
It is being used for a connection to another pabx. So calls come in on ISDN on OXE and flow through sip to the other pabx.
Now I am noticing that I cannot make a log with 4760 for calls going through the SIP trunk Grp.
Is there something I have to do to start getting these calls?
How does the pabx treat a SIP trunk grp? as an external call or internal call?
Regards
Wallace

Re: Call Logging on SIP
Are your accounting filters for Incoming calls activated?
The TG maybe configured for Private or Public, and based on that you have to activate the accounting filters.
You're looking for tickets, correct?

Re: Call Logging on SIP
Yes I'm looking for tickets specifically going through in and out of this Sip trunk Grp but even if I try to get a report by trunk grp, the SIP trunk grp is not available as an option in the 4760.
I have available the isdn trk grps, analogue trk grps and also normal h323 IP trk grps but not the SIP trunk grp and I dont know why or if I have to search for a different criteria when SIp is involved.

Re: Call Logging on SIP
Actually the parameters are the same. SIP TG is an T2 TG, so it looks like, in the OXE view, as an ISDN TG.
You should check in the TG configuration if it's Private (mgr>>trunk group>>Private Trunk Group and in the Accounting filters if they are filtering the Private calls, in case TG was created as private.
Make a call, run account compress and check the latest TAX file on /usr4/account to see if the ticket was created.

Re: Call Logging on SIP
All Filters should be checked but I will re-check just in case.
