Omnipcx office small queue music

Post by Rtecom »

Dear all,

I invested some time to check how to upload a .wav as queue music. I`m using the OMC 820 16.1 software for this job.
Unfortunately anytime a error pops up.
The software explains that the file format is not correct.

I invested more time to check which .wav is necessary for this action. I found out that I have to upload ccitt a-law 8Khz 8bit mono.
So far, is that true?

Does Alcatel provides a software for such kind of converting jobs? To make sure you understand correctly, I just need a queue music file :?

I hope to receive your answer.

best regards,

Good morning!

At first I have to tell you that the file format seems right now. The software is able to start the transfer progress.
Unfortunately an other problem appeared:
"Data transfer failed. The File is to big or a licence is missing" (I had to translate this from German to English)

File is 2.1mb.
I don`t know about a licence issue. Do I need a licence for this function? If right, how to get such a licence?

Best regards!

Usually when your file has more than the time allowed. It depends on your CPU model, licenses.

Dear Community,

at first I have to tell you that I`m very proud of receiving all that tips to that topic.

Focusing on the issue again:
I cut the queue track to several length: 35sec up to 2.09min.
By Using the long file the error message mentioned earlier appears.
Now, I tried to upload the 35sec file and the following error appears:

25.10.2013 10:49:33 : Online Laden FEHLER: Unknown 0x00 - - Operation 0x07, Version0x00, Id 0x00e7 - Kein Fehler

in English:

25.10.2013 10:49:33 : Online Loading ERROR: Unknown 0x00 - - Operation 0x07, Version0x00, Id 0x00e7 - No Error

Does someone know this error and has a idea how to fix it?

Best regards from Germany!

Hi

I've never seen this error. Could you please provide the audio file and the database? Let me take a look.

Hey!

Maybe we can suggest where the mistake is by excluding one thing at a time.

Audio file is attached as following:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-822 ... e.wav.html
I mean I`m not a professional audio converter but I think the file is more or less okay.

Please let me know if the audio file is okay so I can check the .dbs issue.

By the way, is the pcxtool OMC 820 16.1a reasonable for a small office machine?

Greetz to you!
