Issue for sip link between two OXE

Post by Sam2009 »

Hi
I have OXE-A R10.1.1 connect to OXE-B R9.1 via SIP LINK (12 link).
i need help for some issue about this link:
1- user name: At OXE-A i can see remote users's name when they call me. but at the other side OXE-B (R9.1) when I call anyone , my name didn't display at his set , only the extension.
for example. :
OXE-A user ( 2000 : Sameer ) & OXE-B user(3000 : Anas)
when 3000 call 2000 I can see this number B3000 and his name Anas ....but when 2000 call 3000 , he see this number only B3000 with out any name.

2- Call Barring: I configure route No. 2 to make calls to OXE-A . so all users at OXE-B can call any one at OXE-A.... How i can prevent some users at OXE-B to call OXE-A ???

If you want forbide for some users display name - in phone feature COS for this user manage "Virtual set on CMP board=1".

For call barring - you can use Public network COS (forbide access to SIP TG) or connection COS.

thanks vad ,
for Call Barring i solve the problem , but regarding the display name , i check this features COS and found that the "Virtual set on CMP board=0" on Both PBXs , when i modify the value 0 to 1 , the PBX which was working well stopped displaying the name

is there any other parameters we need to modify

appreciate

Sorry, not understand your questions (I think you want do not display name).
About name we have some points for management:
- system/ other system/ external signaling param - item Calling Name Presentation
- phone feature COS - item Calling name display (CNIP/I-CNAM)

And sometimes you can have problem from another object with name, f.e. speed dial.
If you have SD where you manage displayed name (f.e. B3000) and call number TG_prefix+1230000 when you receive call from user 1230000 - you will have B3000 on display (from SD parameters).

You can make a trace and check - what user name received (B3000, Sameer, 1230000...) and after this you will understand where (PBX-A or B) problems.
