Provisioning question

I work for a network hardware re-sale company, and I just got my hands on the 7750 SR7.
I am trying to get the cards that are installed in it to show up when I do the "Show card status" command, however the iom-20g card is showing up as Unprovisioned and the cards that are installed in it appear to not be seen by the chassis. I am guessing that it has to do with that the iom card is showing up as Unprovisioned. Would someone be willing to tell me what I need to do to get this card provisioned and/or what I need to do so that I can get the sub cards to show up.

Hello Michael,

You need to provision the card as follows -

config card # (slot number for IOM)
card-type iom2-20g
mda # (position of mda)
mda-type xxxx
no shutdown
exit
