SIP trunk connection to OpenTouch

Post by janisk »

Hello,

Can someone advice me how to connect OpenTouch system to OXO via SIP trunk?

We have OT 1.3.000.052 and OXO 9.1. There is SIP trunk group and external gateway created in OXE. We can call OXE users from OXO without any problems. But OT users are not reachable. There is no problem between OXE and OT users.

In SIP trace we found that:
1) call arrives in OXE,
2) OXE creates another INVITE to OT,
3) OT answers "Not Found"

In OT logs I see:
1) SIPServer is Sending HTTP post to ExtensibleServices_1, to analyze origin and destination of INVITE message
2) ExtensibleServices services log has following error:
SipWorld.getIdentifiableItem(): can't find a tenant for uri=100@192.168.2.73
where 192.168.2.73 is IP address of OXO

ExtensibleServices stops analyzing INVITE message after this error and is sending response "XS_TAG_HANGUP_REASON=WRONG_NUMBER".

Seems we have to register IP address of remote host somewhere in OT? Some other ideas?

Many thanks for your time.

Post some wireshark traces of the call form OXO to OT user.
It is a stupid remark, but OT replies NOT FOUND. This means that the called number doesn't exist on OT side.

Best regards.

It does. OXE users can call same number without any problems.

I've found an idea in Alcatel-Lucent OpenTouch R1.x Troubleshooting guide in chapter "13.6.10 No way to call from MTW". I connected to OT with Genesys Configuration Manger and added OXO address to ess-attributes as ess-sip-domain-alias-003. Now it is working. But I'm not sure if OT will like my hacking. Would be better to manage this through Omnivista interface. Have you seen some procedure how to configure SIP trunk connections to OT?

OT users (OXO management) declared separated in ARS, with IP address of OT?

Was problem from my practice (OXO-OXE, in OXE was 2 VoIP boards):
OXE user 2xxx VoIP IP 10.253.253.1
OXE user 3xxx VoIP IP 10.253.253.2

In OXO - Numbering / ARS / was declared 2xxx and 3xxx send to 10.253.253.1

In such management - we can call from OXO to 2xxx and 3xxx OXE users.
We cannot in OXO receive calls from 3xxx (10.253.253.2).

In another words - OXO reject calls from IP addresses not present in Automatic Route System management.

May be this is your case.

No, both OT and OXE users are declared in OXO ARS with IP address of OXE.

The other end (OXE) is rejecting calls in my case. But idea is same - we have to register address of far end in OT management.

I upgraded our Open Touch Business Edition to version 2.0. We still have SIP trunk to remote OXO defined in OXE part of OT. But remote users are not able to call OT Conversation users again. Adding OXO address like I did in version 1.3 does not help anymore

So same old question arrived - do you know how to connect to Open Touch via SIP Trunk?
