Supervision + no ring tone ?

Hello boys and girls,

i´m pretty new to the Alcatel telefon system, so please explane things easy.
First the facts:
PCX release: j2.603
PCX patch ID: 25
Phone: 4029


I configured supervision in our division and it works fine, but if there is an incomming call, all phones are ringing. --> Annoying!
If i disable the ring tone in supervision, also the information to the call on the display disapears.
Short ring is no alternative, i want it silent.
Any ideas?

no chance, only these three options.

but you can put it on short ring, and alter the ringingtone options to 3 tones before ringingtone within the menu of the phone.
so you have three beeps and then the ringing tone for normal calls and only three beeps for supervision

Not 100% correct. You can modify the associated Timer for short ringing. But it is system wide. Can't remember which but I think it was 80?
