Howdy all,
I was wondering if there is a way to configure a report that I can run to show extensions that have not been used within a set time period; ie no calls made/received within last 6 months, etc.
Looking to perform some capacity management as we have had quite a bit of departmental relocation's/closures.
Thank you
Hesh

Re: Extension Useage Report
Hi Hesh,
I believe there’s no such predefined report and specific definition that pertains on your requirements. However, I am thinking that you can define a report for your requirement as a workaround. Try to create a report that will generate last six (6) months records and show each extension. After the generation, you can identify the extensions that were frequently used then from your list of created extensions try to eliminate the extensions on your report to gather all not used in the last six (6) months. From here, you can also make other observation like generating the report per each previous month so you can trace the oldest extensions that were not being used.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.

Zero

Re: Extension Useage Report
Hi Zero,
Thank you for your response.
I figured as much. To be honest, I have no idea on how to create my own reports from scratch. The Report module is not exactly brimming with helpful tips.
Are there any freeware tools that may provide some guidance? I have messed around with some of the existing reports but have had no success.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hesh

Re: Extension Useage Report
Thanks Zero! I now know how to do it and have managed to fiddle with those variables to provide a report that actually contains some meaning.
Your assistance has been greatly appreciated!
