Software release meaning C-11.0.R5

Hi guys,

Could you explain what each symbol in software version means?
For example:
TiMOS-C-11.0.R5 (7750 SR)
TiMOS-B-4.0.R7 (7210 SAS)

The part "11.0.R5" and "B-4.0.R7" have the form of "m.n.Yz". m is the Major release, n is the Minor release. Y can be A (Alpha realease), B (Beta Release), M(Maintenance Relase) and R (Released software). z is version number. I am not sure about the -C- and -B- ...
