swinst/ expert menu/ OPS configuration/ save OPS files on CPU disk - answer "y" when system ask about confirmation.
After you will have this files on A4400 CPU HDD in catalog /usr4/BACKUP/OPS.
Retrieve this files via ftp.

Or download the files *.hw, *.sw4760, *.sw / software.mao, *.zip and hardware.mao manually from /usr3/mao/ after the command cdmao; ops read

I'm not sure whether R4.4 supports the OPS storage to CPU disk.

Which ops files? Ones already on the PBX? Or files that need to go in to PBX from a floppy?

Which Disk? Floppy or HDD?

Please try and be a little bit more clearer.

VAD has already posted the solution to download ops from PBX to your own computer/laptop. The procedure to download OPS files from PBX to Floppy is similar except that you need to ensure you have a freshly MS-DOS formated floppy disk, insert floppy disk in MSB-FD board and enter swinst menu as follows;

Swinst > Expert Menu > Option 5 > Choose option to backup OPS from system > choose option to backup to Floppy.

Glad to be of assistance my friend :)

General discussion
However, even following VAD's method, once the files are on your laptop/computer, you could've just copied them to a floppy disk. The only problem is nowadays, newer machines are coming out without floppy drives and some major PC outlets are starting to stop selling floppy disks. Edit: (starting to stop.... very bad english!). They are beginning to withdraw from selling...

I suspect another problem is that you might not have been allowed to put your laptop on to the PBX ethernet port due to network security issues. This also is becoming a problem sometimes. Its all down to the customer and whether or not they trust you and your equipment. The irony is that they pay you to look after them (their equipment).

Thank god for the CPU7s2. It has built in USB support :D

I haven't even heard of 4.4

Maybe it is Country specific. In the UK, we only went up to 4.2 then to Release 5.0
