4760 centralised billing

Post by ahjamal »

Hi everybody,

I have a project to provide 4760 centralised billing to a company with 2 OXEs and 9 OXOs. I understand we need a license for each OXE or OXO and also to declare one system as master node and all others as clients, is that right? How to evaluate which one to use as master?

If someone has done something like this before, could he/she please tell problems encountered and precautions to be taken. Thanks.

Once you get the license, it will already dictate which node to use as the 'Reference node'. I'm 99% sure about that.

Before you have installed the 4760 server, the best practice would be to make sure you structure the users on each node with relevant cost centre codes otherwise once you perform the initial synchronisation task on the 4760, all the users will end up in one big list under Accounting > Organisation list.
