Ring 4 times, then switch to Operator

Hello everyone, i'm new to this board and also just started administrating the 4760

now my question:
in our distribution department they want to have a function if a customer calls a number for example 654 and the phone rings 4 times it should move automatically to the employee using the operator (number 1).
i Know there is a feature called hunt group but i think the implementation is very complex in a big company.
are there any other features i could use ?

There is a call redirection feature, the default is *41 - *42 - *43.
The *41 redirects the call when the set is busy, the *42 redirects the call when there is no answer, and the *43 redirects the call if the set is busy and/or not answer. The delay in this case is 3-4 rings, which is your request, i hope. In your case you have to dial *421 or *431 on the 654 extension.

Maybe it solve your problem...
