we are SugarCRM Providers and one of our customers now asked about an integration with his Phone System:
Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX OXO
Is there a Possibility to "connect" SugarCRM (PHP-Web-Applikation hostet on Unix System) to this PBX?
We want to achieve the following:
-Start outgoing calls from the Web-Browser (CRM).
-Show Incomming Call (Info of caller if existing in CRM) within the Web-Browser (CRM).
Maybe you can give us some hints where to start. We currently do not have any Alcatell Developer-Accounts or any other SDKs.

You can go maybe with Pimphony or with TAPI controls.

Integrating CTI features in a web page (like in SugarCRM) against an OXO PBX is possible. You must get CSTA licenses on the OXO PBX and UNIGONE TelServer. TelServer offers a javascript API (TSLib) with all the CTI features (MakeCall, DropCall… events for incoming calls…). Even agent state capabilities can be handled within the web page.
I suggest you to request an evaluation of TelServer at bruno.konik@unigone.com.

Is it possible without any 3rd Parts Servers?
with Asterisc PBX we had the possibility to send all Activities directly to a Script on the CRM Server to get Information of any Calls within the PBX.
TAPI Controls: are these Client Based on each PC or are ther Server side possibilities (CRM <-->PBX)?

already answered, no 3rd parties needed, what UNIGONE offers is a ready to go product so you don't develop your own.
TAPI, CSTA, some SDK license will be needed. You need to contact your ALU provider for quotation and more details.
Don't compare with Asterisk, ALU is not that. Cisco, Avaya, etc have their own working model.
