Send DTMF from Attendant set

Hi all,

I have a 8068 configured as attendant set. When performing an external call cannot send DTMF (to dial an extension over message, lets say) without pressing the dynamic "Send DTMF" key, instead the phone tries to do a second call.
When performing same call in a regular set (not attendant set) it works fine.

Is there some config that I am missing?

Regular - analogue/DTMF or IP?
without pressing "Send DTMF" - it works from analogue phone or if you manage "auto.DTMF dialing on outgoing call" in Trunk Group parameters (but in this case not so easy to make second call - f.e. for conference or transfer)

Hi Vad,

When I said regular I was talking about an IP phone which config has nothing to do with attendant.
Auto DTMF is configured in trunk group, that is why it works from the IP not attendant phone.

Any Ideas??

I think it has something to do with attendant config because same call work different from attendant extension and no attendant extensions.

If TG parameters Auto DTMF configured - I have no additional idea. may be for attendant set this feature not possible.
I prefer to forbid "Auto DTMF" in TG parameters, create prefix and suffix for DTMF dialing * (star) and explain for user - for DTMF dial number+* and after answer dial DTMF digits.

Try TG go DWN H /TG end to end dialling & end to end dtmf transparency signal

That worked. However strange thing is that now when I try to change it again to "No" those parameters command is not succeeded.
This errors are shown:

for End-to-end dialing:

Code: Select all

OBJECT -1: DTMF end-to-end signal.: Q23 transparency: Bad NUM transparency

for DTMF end-to-end signal:

Code: Select all

OBJECT -1: DTMF end-to-end signal.: Transparency of this kind not possible

I saw those error yestarday when trying to change parameters to "Yes"...

Why is this happening?

I just found that the error appear when trying to change one parameter at the time.
Only when setting both to Yes Yes or No No works.

to roolback you have to do on the opposite order
deactivefirst dtmf end to end after that the end to end dialling
or set both parameters to NO before applyin changes

In this case order is not been relevant.
I am trying to set first DTMF end to end (without changing end to end dialing) > validate, and I obtain error. In the oposite way is happenning the same.

The only way that i got it to work is changing both to YES > validate or both NO > validate.
