IP Touch 4038 telnet session

Hi,

I saw that the step to telnet IP Phone

ippstat ->option 15 -> enter the ip ext number ->enter the time 1440

oxe ->telent ip@ of the IP Phone

but please forgive me, I am really new here, I couldn't complete it, does anyone could explain more details please? can I use putty to telnet it??

Use telnet from OXE command prompt.
