Time to upgrade. Nowadays, you can not only virtualize all you have, switch to IP phones, but also control everything from your office if this is a remote location. It's like comparing Windows 3.11 to Windows 10, or better, iOS

Re: IP Routing Question
That is an OLD system my friend. Probably over 10 years old.

Re: IP Routing Question
Hehe upgrading that for just a few sets would be probably insane and worst if not even well configured to direct dial extensions...
But one problem at the time.
Maybe try to run the netadmin -m and configure again the gateway. Then apply.
Make a backup fist of course.

Re: IP Routing Question
Yes I know it's time to upgrade
As first step I wanted to get rid of this management PC and because I don't think I will get this software to run on a newer OS so I just want to virtualize it. After that I have to contact an Alcatel Partner to see what can be done with this thing.
I already tried re-applying the default router settings via netadmin -m --> Routing --> Default Router setup --> Add/Update. Didn't work.

Re: IP Routing Question
OK, so it did work eventually
In the end re-applying the route did work indeed.
But I had to chose "delete" before reconfiguring. Add/Update alone did not work as stated in the previous post.
After deleting the default router and setting it up again I now can see the default route in the routing table via route list
Thanks everybody for guiding me to this solution.
