how to activate SSU in SETUP via ISDN call

Post by Cellou »

Hello,

We are interconnected with Genesys, via the CSTA Lynk they launch a call with the field Correlator DATA

--Event : EVT_DELIVERED (cross-ref-id=1477484288 host=0)
--| Delivered Connection : (call=18,neqt=942,type=TYPE_PROVIDED:0)
--| (PRIVATE) Alerting (S)Device : "8558201"
--| (PUBLIC) Calling (L)Device : "0616189133"
--| (PRIVATE) Called (S)Device : "8558140"
--| (PRIVATE) Last red (L)Device : "8558124"
--| Originating Connection : (call=18,neqt=370,type=TYPE_PROVIDED:4)
--| Local Connection Info : LCI_ALERTING
--| Cause : CAU_DISTRIBUTED
--| Correlator Data: '15c05743423a30363136313839313333373031'H

I need to transmit the information in Correlator data via the ISDN to the destination number.

But when i trace the call (t3) the field USER_USER don't appear.
Accept SUU in SETUP is enable on the trunk.

Any idea ? I have some incomming call which send me the good information, but when i send the call it's not working.

Thanks for your help

By ISDN you mean public trunk (EDSS1)?

Which is your topology? How are different sites connected?

You need this for which purpose? Screen display? Which is your configuration for ISCC? Your problem is Genesys Global ID or Correlator Data?

How is cast-type configured (T-Server --> extrouter)?

Hi,

Where did you take the t3 trace? on the calling side or on the called side.
This is importante because first you should check on the calling side if the Genesys correlator data provided by Genesys is carried transported on ISDN by OXE. If this is the case, and on the called side there is no correlator data in the ISDN SUU field, then you must check with the carrier if SUU is active. In some countries this must be payed.

Hi,

Thank for your reply.

Yes, by ISDN i mean public network.

The purpose is to send to an external entreprise a phone number throught the field USER_USER.

And Sadim, i take the t3 on my side. My problem is that the correlator data that i received by the CSTA is not retransmit through the ISDN.

I only work on OXE, i will ask the genesys team about the cast-type and the ISCC configuration. (But I see the correlator DATA in the csta trace, so it should be more an oxe problem no ?)

Hi,

The csta delivered event that you post is for a incoming call, not for a outgoing call.
You must take traces on the TServer that is invoking the call setup and at same time on the OXE that is connected to that TServer.
Then, check if correlator data coming from genesys is being retransmited by OXE at ISDN level.
If all correlator data is being retransmited by OXE, then you shoul check on the destination site at ISDN level and then at csta level.

BRegards
