Post by kfz »

Hi,

is it possible to define few cell phone numbers in some kind of phonebook, so that when cell phone number is calling, there is ID displayed on our Alcatel-Lucents ?

Yes you can create abbreviated numbers with the numbers desired than they will appear on the ip/digital sets' screens.

Could you please tell me where it can be done? There is "Phone book" in OXE, but maximum number's lenght is 8 digits only.

Sorry kfz, but mgr is the basic of the basic command to configure OXE.

If you don't know it, i suggest you to contact your maintainer since anything you change on your PBX without knowing what you're doing may damage your configuration.

But, if you'd rather try, using OmniVista you should go to Configuration module, Configure the PBX, and look for Speed Dialing menu.
