OmniTouch CCSupervision Application and 4760

Post by TheDon »

Good afternoon. I am very new to Alcatel as a whole and especially CCS so please bear with me.

We have a number of Mono Site licences (Lets say for Example 25) where contact center supervisors can log into the CCS system so they can change skills and call routing etc etc. (like I said I am very green to this system as I come from a cisco background)

From time to time I am required to go into CCS to perform administrative duties and sometimes I cannot get into the system as all the licenses have been taken by team members or supervisors of the call centers

With this in mind I dug around your forums and found a way to go into the system (4760??) using telnet and run a command called adm_acd. Then I can select option 56 (Token state dump) that lists all users taking up a license or rather a MonoCCS Token. I select the token number and it free's up a license by effectively kicking / logging the user out of the CCS GUI.

This problem exists because users log into CCS and then leave it logged in and perhaps go on holiday, therefore the simple question I would like to ask is, Is there a way or some form of script that can run on the 4760 in the background that checks for an Idle state relating to a user logged into CCS ? Basically if the user has been logged into CCS AND has been idle for say 60 mins, the script can automagically log the user out effectively freeing up a license. Im no unix guy but I do have a great team of Unix personnel who could create a script if this is at all possible to do.

Many Thanks.

Hi
No its not possible, you can do a lot with cron jobs on the systems, but there is nothing to check the idle status and do something becaus of it...

Ans normally you want that the ccs user stays logged in if the ccs make excel statistics...
