CCS: External ASM server does not connect to an MS-SQL

Post by mbarek »

Hello Alcatel CCD experts

I have a question related to ACR in OXE CCS configuration.
Problem :
ASM server does not connect to an MS-SQL database 2012.

Context:
- The ASM 10.6, ODBC and MS SQL Server 2012 are installed on one VM Windows 2012 R2.
- The ODBC driver test does connect successfully to the MS-SQL database.

Symptom:

Via the adm_acd -salb command, we get the following error:
14h13:35 SQL capability not allowed
14h13:35 Error: 13 2 WARNING Invalid script file format C:\Program Files (x86)\Alcatel\Agent Selector Module\Script\External database access.alb

Hi,
On the Installation procedure, you can find "Before creating the ODBC driver on the PC where is located the external ASM, run mdac_typ.exe installation program supplied on the CCS CDROM, to upgrade the Microsoft components."
Did you done that?
