Hi ybelal,

I noticed that there is a SIP 404 error when you are making an external call. What kind of trunk are you using (R2, ISDN, SIP, etc.)? Have you tried using local 8515 as a SIP Device (currently cofigured as SIP Extension)? I did some tests using X-Lite and configured it as a SIP Device. I am using ISDN trunks. Unfortunately, I did not encountered the problem you are currently facing.

I have tried same number by creating as device and as extension, as extension it can make external out going call but when it is device then can't make external outgoing calls. i have created a sip trunk group in CS with signal ABC-F, the outgoing trunk of the PABX to PSTN is R2.

Hi Tot,

Sry for the late reply, I didnt had Topic reply update on..

But yes, we have done the SIP trunk Grp. We got working SIP Extensions on the system. CLIP work on them fine, just not SIP Device. Is this handled directly on the TG? Or on the user (SIP Device)

Regards

As far as I know if you want to call out with a sipdevice you need to check the settings of the abcf siptrunkgroup.
Take care about the following things:
PNC of the trunkgroup. It need the rights to make a outside call
Nr of digits to send. Make it enough or use nr compatible with and point it to a good discriminator selector.
Check entity nr of the trunk. Use a entity nr which have a correct discriminator selection in case of ars routing.
Also disallow dialing with overlapping in the trunk.

Good luck.
